The Humboldt County Community Foundation (HCCF) exists to help concerned individuals mobilize charitable giving to support the betterment of Humboldt County communities and organizations.


ABOUT

The Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization providing financial management, strategic development and educational services to communities, organizations and donors throughout Humboldt County.

The Foundation is affiliated with the Iowa Community Affiliate Network which allows us to assist communities and organizations in achieving nonprofit charitable status without forming their own nonprofit corporations.

Building permanent endowments that invest and protect principal, distribute earnings in the form of grants, and allow the creation of donor legacies.
Broad, flexible purposes assisting arts and culture, economic development, education, environment, health and human services, recreation areas and supporting high-impact community opportunities.
Personalized giving programs allowing multiple charitable intents from various types of contributions such as cash, stocks, property or bequests to gain maximum tax advantages and involvement in establishing funds that can be unrestricted, field of interest, donor designated or advised.

 


Mission

The Humboldt County Community Foundation Board is a charitable foundation established by community stakeholders for the purpose of improving the quality of life in Humboldt County by initiating programs, coordinating resources, and supporting organizations that enhance education, community betterment, arts and culture, health, and human services

The Foundation works to provide leadership and resources in partnership with the community toward accomplishing this mission.


One of the best ways to maintain a healthy community is to provide support for projects within our own neighborhoods. Foundations and charities provide the glue that hold us together and support our local communities.
